Rear end sway 1997 TL
I thought my car was good to go but setting off on a long jouney, not far into it, the car started to sway in the rear end.
It didn't do this at first at all but my steering wheel is a little crocked when driving straight (>5deg). I fig. this was from not adjusting after an alignment.
It started (not safe swing in rear, not just a slight sway) after filling the tank, which I had been driving with 1/4-1/3 tank without rear swaying.
The passenger side rear tire is noticibly toed inward towards the front of the car.
But the garage I was near couldn't find any reasonable reason why it was like this and it looks further out than just an alignment issue to me.
I'm waiting to hear back from Honda, where I had it towed on recommendation from the garage that couldn't see anything wrong.
I did put two snows on the rear of the car also on steel rims and left the two aluminums up front but it shouldn't cause this, not to this extreme. The sway is back and forth and at speeds as low as about 30mph.
The only other thing I can think of that has been done recently is changed all the belts. There was no difference in the few drives before yesterdays incodent after this work was done.
The car has wanted to pull slightly (sometimes) since purchase but nothing alarming. Could something stressed have finally broken? Could bad rear struts cause this? I hope it's bushings or something small, I just did the timing and all the belts for piece of mind at my mileage and it ate the last of what I want to put into this old car.
Any insite?

Re: Rear end sway 1997 TL
Honda did a full inspection and concluded that one rear snow tire was "bad" and they switched the left and right and it took the pull out. They came off the front of my Nissan (Sentra SpecV turbo, built motor, TECIII standalone, JICs with a little neg camber....) that's sat all winter, but I still don't get it. They recommended an alignment within the next few weeks and also mentioned I have a slight bend in one front rim as well.
So I bought 2 tires I needed for my summer rims (for the SuperSpec) and dropped them off to be put on tomorrow followed by an alignment.
Should look nice with 17" silver with chrome lip Gram Light Pros on it. Maybe even a touch snappier with these 16lb. Feels wrong though, I paid as much for these wheels as I did the Acura
I swear the power locks worked when I test drove though and it's the only thing I don't have working properly yet.
Maybe my first thread will help people. This problem was pretty whack imo. Before 1st garage I checked lug nuts and tire pressure, it's amazing what improper pressure can do.
