my suspension is creeking and squeeking--help!
so ever since i lowered my TL, i've been getting these annoying noises coming from the right side of my car. i searched this problem up already and i lubed up all the joint with WD-40. this helps for a while and then the squeeking and creeking comes back next day. also, this only happens when i'm going over a dump or dip in the road at 40mph or less, and when i'm on the freeway it's quiet. what do i need to do to fix this? thanks in advance!
cliffs:
- lowered my car (ground-controls)
- the suspension on the right side squeeks
- only squeeks when i'm going at lower speeds

its most likely your shock, how many miles on them? on a lowered car u should replace the shocks with aftermarket shocks. and its also faster that way, bc now u have to take everything apart.

i don't think it's because of shocks. i jacked up my and swiveled my springs around, it's sitting flush on the perch now and i think that's the reason why it's not squeeking anymore.

Most likely the lower balljoint; pretty common. To make sure fire some lube in the boot on just the one lower balljoint and if it goes away replace the balljoint.
