How To reset the Maintenance Required light for the 3.5RL
A member had asked me in IM and I cant remember who.
Turn ignition to (II) (dont start the car)
Set trip to (Trip A) or (Trip B) *will not work if outside temp is displayed (this was why we could not get it to work??)
HOLD SELECT and RESET at same time for more than 10 sec
Turn car off.
Just FYI for the archives.

Hold down select and reset buttons, then turn the key to the "on" position while holding the buttons. In about 10 seconds the light will go out and the system has been reset.

The correct procedure would be to hold down both buttons BEFORE you ever put the key in the ignition than turn it to the (II) when the light turns off turn off the car and you are done!!!
Just clearing things up so u don't get as frustrated as I did following the wrong directions!!!

Re: How To reset the Maintenance Required light for the 3.5RL
I was due for the A1 service and for some reason the only thing that worked for me was selecting the oil life meter and holding the Sel/Reset button for 10 seconds. I use Amsoil so I will change it sometime this summer.
