Default Acura CL vs TL Seats

I posted the below on the Acura website, but thought that some of you experienced Accord folks might be able to help me out.

"I have a 6-way power driver's seat that I removed from a 1997 Acura TL. Does anyone know offhand if the seat back and cushion from this TL seat can be removed and bolted to a 1997 Acura CL base? Or, does the fact that the TL and CL seat bases are different preclude this from happening? Reason I ask is that I'm trying to replace the manual cloth seats in my '96 Accord, and the Acura TL seats I got at at a junkyard won't fit. I've been told (on the Accord website) that the Acura CL seats will fit though.
Thanks in advance,"

Thanks. I fabricated some brackets, and actually got the TL seat bolted into my ’96 Accord. It was very unstable though…my personal concern is how well the seat would stay in place if I had an accident. That said, several members from the Accord forum stated that a seat from a ‘97 Acura CL would fit perfectly – with no brackets.

There is a ’97 Acura CL set on eBay for sale, with some tears in the leather. My question is this – if I was to take apart and remove the seat cushion and back from my TL seat (which are in excellent condition), could I then mount the TL seat/back on the CL’s base?

You have to use the specific defrost button

if you put the system in auto, it will run the defroster by default when the temp is above about 32F, if you are getting steamed windows, your a/c system may not be functioning properly. I have a 02 CLS and the defroster works when needed although I usually put it in manual so that I can get ALL the air directed at the windows and then press it to auto when the car has warmed up.
