2005 Honda CRV.... CEL BS!
My father inlaw got a 2005 Honda CRV not too long ago. Well after a day or two a CEL came on. Went to honda and they erased the code. After about 20 mins of driving the CEL comes back on. Well we schedule an appoint for a week later and I wake up at 5:45am and leave my house to get to Honda at 7:00am they had all day to check the car and the guy calls now and tells me there scanner is broken. WTF is that. Out of all the techs they have only 1 has a scanner? Now I have to schedule another appointment for next week again. Are all honda dealerships like this? Wasting peoples time? The guy also told me theres no other way to check the code. Is it possible to short the connector on a 2005 to check the code? What a waste of time!

goto autozone, they will give you an idea of what the code is, they should all have OBD scanners, I know the ones here do.

ya, ive loved my hondas service... went to the dealership to get a new key, since i broke my last spare, and the guy gave me 2 or 3 new keys for no charge... made them right in front of me, and it was nice
