i bought a 01 CL type - s today and already threw an intake in it and a radio. the car has 99k on it and the trans is one of thoes rare "good" ones. This car was bone stock when i bought it. now what? i want this to be a daily driver. ive built several older cars (70 chevelle, 84 Monte SS ect..) this is my first import any ideas?

(btw' i'm just a broke as everyone else, so i got to keep this on a reasonable budget!! thanks!!)

Put HIDS. Cheapest thing to do. Sound system always a good choice too

Take a look at Acurazine and see what other CLers are doing and maybe you'll get ideas. The principle is the same with any car, do you want to work on suspension? audio? exterior? performance?... pick one and run with it! lol

Thanks for the ideas, looking to up the preformance without major surgery. just put in an AEM cold air. rims and tires for the summer are on order with the sound system. leaving the exterior and suspension stock for now, would a power programmer be a good idea at this point or should i wait till i get into heavy engine mods(injectors, throtle bodys ect) to get one. thanks again everyone i have no idea where to go next!!

i noticed a huge handling upgrade with the Comptech Titanium series front tie bar, especially if you will run bigger rims

its great looking, too! for the engine bay at least lol

honestly that and brake upgrades. stock brakes are terrible and its like stopping a boat!!! i know many CL owners who have/had warped rotors, then upgraded and couldnt be happier with the fix.

btw, post up pics when you get your rims!
