Default Worth buying this 2005 rsx-s?

well theres this dealer hes selling a black rsx type s 48,250 miles no scratches clean inside and out MINT. he said he just fixed the powerwindows on both sides and fixed the AC which was working but for some reason it wasn't throwing Cold Air as it suppose to. for $13,500 it has a anti-theft system.. dont know which one though. and a alarm system. Clean title clean carfax. 1 owner only.

In my opinion? No.

But that is just me. It's your money, do what you want with it!

the price is too expensive ?

I just couldn't bring myself to pay $13.5k for an RSX. If I was going to be spending that kind of money, I would just buy a slightly older RSX, and put the money into the car!

its a good price for an 05, you wont find much better deals than that if it really is in the condition you described. whether you want to spend 13.5k for an 05 or 7-8k for an 02-04 is maybe a better question. motor-wise, they really are not much different from each other, dont believe the fanboy hype.

its a good deal compared to other similar rsx's. i'd bring the a/c and power window issue up and offer maybe 12.5k

the 05-06 rsx-s is quiet faster. friend of mine had an 02 and he could never break the 15's with bolt ons. In my 06 type-S i broke low 14's with just an intake my first time at the track. they are differant in little ways. cams are more agressive in the 05-06, steering ratio is diff, interior changes, exhaust changes, transmission is shorter at 4:77 vs the old 4:38. they are not the same and the changes did make more of a differance then you think. i wouldnt pay more then 10-11k though. im glad mines almost paid off.

I've been looking at A LOT of 05-06 RSX-S for the past few months and $13,500 is not a bad deal for 1 owner 48k. RSX under 50k miles are hard to find. Those that are, want $15k-$16k. I almost bought a 05 NBP RSX-S 38k with 3 owners for $13,800. It was in terrible condition though. Ended up with 05 VBP RSX-S with 80k miles, 1 owner. ****** it up, I think it's a good deal.

I think you prolly are a much better driver than your buddy, yes z1's got little more horse, but his low 15's and you low 14's??? 1 sec. difference is significant imo... also, I've seen a few high 14's with rh/i/e on a2's...

I paid 16.5 for my 05 NBP Type-S 3 years ago from NY /w 15k miles... THAT was a good deal.. 13.5 to me is a lil steep.. I'm also kinda boggled how stuff in the car you are looking at already broke..
