What are the pros and cons between the k24a1 and k24a2?
I want to do a frank swap with k20a2 head and don't know the differences if any between the two blocks! Also does it matter if they are long block or short block?

a shortblock is just the bottom end, which is usually cheaper. a longblock is the entire engine (head & block). i would personally try to get a k24a2 instead of the a1.

Depends... will you lower the compression on the k24a2? If not, go with the a1
