theres a thread somewhere down there.... but anyways:
car was at a shop, they were installing a turbo. while they were turning it, a rod blew through the engine. started a fire which spread to the fuel line and then to the fuel tank. the mech was in the car, got out without a scratch. the shop's insurance paid everything. no sueing going on. we canadians arent that cheap *joke*

Whoa, that's crazy. A blown rod and a burnt up car. I guess you go to a good shop since they're willing to cover all of it. to that part at least.
