Water in headlight?
Hello,
Okay so its been raining and some how i got water inside my headlight(04 RSX), i believe the water came in from the socket were the light bulb is. Since i have HID lights and their enought space for water to enter. now i have water inside my headlight and i cant get it out, any one have any suggestions of getting the water out with out taking the head light off.
Thanks for the support!

Condensation?
Just take out the weather plug, grab some of the silicon packets that come with like beef jerky and shove them in both headlights. Put the weather plug back, good to go.
I put like 3 in each of my headlights, doesn't condense anymore.

Okay guys i what i did is i took the plugs off the back of the headlight and then i drove aroungd with both high and low beams and then the water in the headlight evaporate out off the headlight. after i placed the plugs back on making sure they were on right then made sure there would be any room for water to enter.

when they come off assembly they have a -2 psi seal. if you change the bulb it goes to 0 psi and allows condensation to occur..

Re: Water in headlight? (K20 INSIDE)
okay am still getting condensation in the headlight and its only on my right side. I noticed that my front lawn has a lot of moisture and that is what is causing condensation in the headlight but the only place i think its coming in from is that rubber seal that covers thebulb and assembly. Its becuase of the HId lights i put on and it uses X-clips but they are narrow which leave room for air/water to get in. Any one have any suggestions to seal that
Thanks for the replys in advanced

funny they say it works too, but see i installed HID light on my rsx and they come with this round rubber thing attached to the wires. that is suppose to stop things to enter the headlight, i did not know and i cut it off, now i need to know what can replace that to seal the headlight from the rear with the rubber seal for the head light.

Re: Water in headlight? (dan12288)
Pictures? So you are saying you basically have a hole in the back of your headlight due to a lack of rubber seal?
What happened to your factory weather plug?
And for a side note, throwing more silicone packets will probably still prevent condensation, if not, durastically cut down the time for it to evaporate.
If you are worried about not being able to get the silicone packets back out without taking about the headlight/bumper, just poke a hole on each of them and put some fishing lines through them and let them hang out the back end of the headlight.

am missing the rubber seal that comes with the HID kit on the wires, my dumb *** cut that before install. now have a hollow space were the round seal would be, but i dont have that rubber seal. so i get more than just condensation, any one have any suggestions how to make a round rubber seal like in the picture to replace it. that is the only way that i will stop getting condesation in the head light.
