Default Launching

Hey guys. I have my RSX... the only problem is it is the auto with the ss.
I was curious if anyone knows some good ways to launch it. I know one is to hold down the brake and gas, then just let go of the brake.

I was thinking of one myself but I dont know if this would mess my tranny up. Is to go in neutral and hold like 4k rpm with or without brake then shift down and over to the sport shift. Would that work? Know any other ways?

you shouldn't do anything with that tranny but just drive it because you will kill it. a auto tranny is alot to replace.

those are the only ways i'd think of doing. you need to be careful with your tranny you're putting a lot of stress on it. by the way, how many speeds does the auto go up to. side note: just don't do it.

if you want to really launch get yourself a manual car, otherwise just drive an automatic like its meant to be driven, mash the gas pedal

that's the worst crap, I've ever heard. If you keep breaking trannies, eventually you're gonna pay full price for it. It's not like they can't find out how it's being broken.

I don't think your warranty covers abuse done by you. It only covers if it's the manufacturer's damage. Keep that in mind.

honda techs can predict, so they assume, in turn, they uncover some truth. a few may be timid, but most know what's going on.

My first car was a Vovlo 740 Automatic, and I drove it on the first day of school, then that same night I raced a CRX Manual and beat it once out of three tries (Maybe my friend let me win one), but I launched by putting the tranny in Neutral, then floor it while switching it to Drive. That's how you launch an Auto. But only three days later after driving it on the first day of school, I killed the tranny by launching to hard I guess, the whole tranny died and I had no car to drive.

Dont launch your Automatic RSX, that's just to cruel!

Give your rsx some juice, NOS it! Its cheap and fun, better than f'ing up your tranny!

Good Luck, GO FAST!
