It's gone to a buyer in the UK; maybe he'll do something special with it, but who knows.

Re: (George Knighton)
George, do you have any articles on the survivability of McPherson strut cars vs. double wishbone? I'd like to know what makes them better in a crash, do they simply give more room to have a crumple zone?

Yes.
Double wishbones take up room in the wings that could be used for more metal and a different impact absorbing zone.

Glad the last Ep3 was NBP!! NPB > * ahahah...lol. Yeah, I love my car. There are a few asthetics (like the dash) that I'd take over my ep3, and the engine is a given. But I don't think I'll trade mine in.

Are you saying you do or do not like the dash?
I think I like it a little better than the FG2's spaceship type dash.

Call me crazy, but yes, I prefer the staggered dash to ours. Something Knight Rider-ish that pulls me to it...lol

Georgie's an old fart... ok fast old fart... 1:29 is pretty darn good at SP, who knows the history of why certain cars were made.
The EP3 CTR has no home, most teams in BTCC/ETCC have moved to the Accord (TSX - US) Euro R or the Integra (RSX - US). The US Speed World Challenge is now using primarily TSX cars run by Realtime racing. Honda made cars for racing, if a certain car has no racing home then its usually done and gone.
The current ETCC ranks has one CTR run by Honda Dealer Team Sweden whose other car is an Accord Euro R. Synchro and Arena run CTRs in BTCC with Halford's preferring the Integra. My belief, which may be incorrect, is that Honda wants to launch another attack on the works teams. With Seat and Vauxhall being the only works teams and Team Arena moving to independent for 2005. So this means they need to focus on the new Civic, in whatever rendition it comes in.

It wasn't good enough to catch the white car that was right in front of me for a solid 20 mins.

I'd say its pretty darned good for a car that still has a back seat and all the comfy thingies. You go too fast and they might just take you and put you in H2.

They'll have to get past Sir David first.

I still don't like the EP3's looks or stock performance(USDM). I've always said that they look better in black as do the new Si, 'cause it takes away some of the car's lines. Now, the CTR I liked (at least more than the US version). It's performance is better than even the RSX Type-S and the kit it comes with is the way all the EP3s should've came, as far as looks goes.

Re: (scatman)
Naw, the problem with the EP3 was its looks. It looked like a minivan, and i'm sure the new coupe will sell much better.
Well done, EP3 CTR. You've done well, and handled like crazy.
Anyone want to go back to double wishbone in the front now?
