I'm thinking about those parts also but i can't get over how sexy the stock exhaust sounds. How does the exhaust sound on the DC Sports? Compared to the stock exhaust? And can you post more pictures of the drop?

Very Nice bud, thanks for sharing that with us. By the way does it sound better or did it take away from the original sound.

Personally, I think the drop is waaay too low in the rear.
Also, the oem exhaust actually looks pretty good. Unless the oem muffler is really restrictive, I doubt you'll see a big HP difference.

The stock exhaust piping is significantly smaller. And also where the piping attaches to the muffler, it is cut down even more. I wrapped a piece of string around the stock pipe and then around the DC piping... I don't know exact spec, but I do know it is much larger.
Stock chrome exhaust tip is kinda overkill IMO. To each their own, but a bolt on exhaust tip vs. quality muffler isn't really a competition.
Drop is surprising. I also have the s-techs, but haven't installed them yet. 1.5" really dumps the rear end... Not sure how I feel about that yet.
MAD props for doing the race header install on jack stands! I did it on a lift and it sucked!

Then that tells me that the springs aren't stiff enough to handle any sort of load, unless your friends are pushing about 250lbs/piece.
I agree...I'd wait for coilovers so you don't have to run with the read end super-dumped.

I was about to order the same parts, except that I was planning on ordering the Eibach drop kit instead. It does look just a little low in the back, but I'd probably have to see it in person to get a better idea of the drop as a whole. Also, where did you order the bolt-ons? I've found two websites: www.raceperformanceparts.com and www.sportcompactonly.com ... and for everything together (NOT including springs) the cost is somewhere around $1250.
All in all, I think the car looks good and I can't wait to do the same to my car.

Re: just install some new **** on the 06 SI (LLEO245)
Hey LLEO I want to do an exhaust as well but I don't want the hum at 75 MPH that many exhausts give. How is it driving at a steady speed in 6th gear around 70 to 80. Is it as quite and humble as the stock exhaust? I can't listen to that HUM on loger trips, 2 or 3 hour rides. It's not me anymore. Please let us know.
Thanks
