Re: just got a turbo ep3
the ep3 came with a K24a4 block with a K20 head. I dont know anyything about the internals so that SUCKS, i really want to tear it a part and re ring and new bearings but dont have time right now. has a ep3 5 speed tranny with what feels like a stahe 3 clutch. K-sport dampers all around with front camber plates. skunk 2 lca in rear and beaks bar for that jdm look kids love lol. custon 3 inch straight pipe with apexi muffler, the down pipe needs one of those flex ***** to help with the exhaust rattle.

Re: just got a turbo ep3
im running the stock greddy tune. Its programmed for the ep3 its even labled on the side of it.
anyone know what the fuel psi should be at? i feel like im running lean and idle has a misfire. Plugs are kind of white. so im thinking fuel pump or intake gasket is bad.

Re: just got a turbo ep3
I gave you the wrong fuel pressure. Stock pressure should be around 47-54 straight from the manual. I believe the pressure is a little bit higher because its a returnless fuel line.

Re: just got a turbo ep3
well i did a compression test and the numbers are waayy lower then im use to seeing. They are 100 psi all the way across, i was expecting 150 psi at least. maybe rings are gone? any tips on how to tell if its rings or valves? the car burns no oil what so ever and during acceleration it picks up nice

Re: just got a turbo ep3
compression stayed the same. First did it with wot and then wot/oil in cylinder.
What i did find was that my timing marks are slightly off. Time for new chain? Only rough at idle, but more like a misfire at idle.
K24a4/k20 head, so i use the k24 timing kit correct?
