BTW s techs are a nice temperorary drop but honestly if i could take the route again i wouldve man'd up by just riding stock height and saved my money for the full dampers. After we dropped my car i realized that i wasnt satisfied with the drop nor the lack of being on springs. ive been on them for about 7k miles now and they are getting bouncy but shocks arent blown yet. so if this makes any sense to you portaman03 listen to me from experience and do it right the first time dont cheat out on suspention. with all that said im done

If the money is burning a hole in your pocket save up 200-300 more for k-pro and eat ramen for awhile. You don't need to go get it tuned if all you have is I/h/e or something even remotely near that. You'd be fine just getting k-pro and uploading an already pretune that comes with it. Bam your done. Best money spent especially down the long road. Or you could smart and put it towards bills so you wont be in debt, something that will help you while in college. It's fun to be fast but it's not fun to be broke and fast especially with gas prices now a days. Spend it wisely. I currently have a slow rsx-s and i'm putting my money towads bills. I'm actually almost caught up, couple more months and the fun begins. The parts are not going anywhere, if anything if you wait, the prices will drop some more. Choose wisely

Directly, you would get a little less with the K&N but indirectly, you'd have more money left over for wiser mods and ultimately, more gain.

The reflash isn't as bad as its being made out to be. It does a lot of things for the drivability of the car. Definitely one of the better mods for the cash. It makes an exhaust upgrade look silly.
However, A-Spec suspension is the way to go if you have $700. Don't be a cheapskate and put lowering springs on already worn oem shocks, because you won't be happy. Do it right and get the very well-balanced A-Spec suspension.
Plus, they are factory parts and in some cases can help the resale of your car.

yeah defently, there is nothing wrong with the reflash, im currently running the reflash with itr cams I/E/H and they are great mods
in the end its up to what you want to do, its not up to us to decide

I'm in the process of putting it together, my Koni's actually came today and awaiting the Ground Controls in the next day or two. I'll be using the stock front struts and cutting them open to put the inserts in, other than that nothing else is OEM (plan on using Zeal pillowball mounts).
It's really not as much of a pain as it is made out to be, pickup a set of blown front struts and go to town.

This guy definitly has got the right idea....what springrates are the GC's?
Koni's with a stiff GC setup! FTW

For now, I went with whatever GC offers (standard rate). I only did this because for the next 8-12 months the car has to have the ability to be a daily if needed. I hope to buy something else as a commuter, and then plan on switching out the springs to something substantially firmer (undecided on exact rates) in addition to upping my rear sway from 23mm to 32mm.
But for now, sacrifices.

Wheels are gonna make the biggest difference.
to do coilovers right you need camber kit and the price will exceed the $700.
Do that later and then get Kpro..
