Cranks but wont start (EP3 K20a2)
Hi!
Im a owner of a EP3 2004.
My car suddenly wont start. It worked fine, parked it for 15 minutes to get my daughter and when I tried to start it again, the engine wont fire up. Got no engine-symbol-light on dashboard either.
I had a guy over that ran diagnosis on all systems. The only error code he found was that it couldn't get contact with the crankshaft sensor. No response at all.
So, I ordered a used one from ebay (mint condition), took out the old one and plugged the new in. Now I get the error P0335 (crankshaft position). Is the "new" sensor broken or could it be anything else?
I get spark, coils looks fine.
Any ideas?
Sorry for my bad english tho, Im from Sweden.

I think its getting fuel tho, I hear the fuel pump when turning the key to on and its smells of gasoline from the coils after it cranked.
I replaced the sensor again and now its not giving any more faulty codes, but still wont fire up.

First, don't worry about your English, it is far better then more then a few English speaking members here.
You will need to confirm fuel and spark, for spark use a spark tester, can be found for $10-$15 CDN at any auto parts store, even ebay.
A simple test for fuel is to try and start the engine then immediately remove a spark plug and see if it is "wet" with gas.
If so pull all the plugs and let sit for a few hrs, to let any fuel in cylinders evaporate, then drop in a tablespoon of oil into each cylinder, crank engine with PGM-FI Main Relay unplugged or pull ECU fuse, you may have "washed" the cylinder walls trying to start the engine and that can drop compression enough to prevent starting. 94
Ps I am also Swedish, in Canada now.

My Integra suddenly can't start because of the immobilizer sender broken. For this problem, you should see the flashing key on the dashboard when you crank the engine. This is s rare problem, but it happen to various Honda & Acura model for those who are unlucky.
The immobilizer sender is located at ignition key. The CEL will not show anything when this sensor is broken.
If you do the fuel delivery test that fcm mentioned, and see fuel, then it is not the immobilizer problem, but something else
If you have the ignition key programmer, you can see whether it can talk to the ECU module. If it can, then it is not due to immobilizer sender failure.
Hope this help
