this might be a stupid question but when im driving and go to start off or shift gear or when its in gear and give it a little more than normal gas it clunks. seems like the engine mounts are ahot and hit something. another thing I've noticed is about 3-4k rpms it seems like theres a valve click but its not very loud. I might be paying attention a little to close but any help is be appreciated.

thanks for the help but its not as loud as a knock like ive heard in some cars before its a little lower pitched. would you think my valves might need adjusted after 65k?

I have an ep3 and i have been noticing the same problem. I was thinking it may be a motor mount. My noise is mostly when i am pulling out or going to second gear. It is driving me crazy, but i cant figure out what it is. I need some help too.
