Buying a type s soon, had a few questions
Hey I was thinking about buying a RSX S in a few months, I'm looking to spend no more than 8.5-9k. How reliable are the k20a2's? I remember when K series first came out I was wondering about the reliability of them and now that it's almost 10 years later there should be a good censensus now. What kind of mileage have you had on your rsx's and what problems, if any have you had? I know at that price I probably won't be able to find one with under 100k miles, is it even worth paying that much? I know hondas are reliable I've had quite a few over the years and they all have taken anything I've thrown at them. I'm going to be driving it hard on a daily basis most likely, and want it to last at least 5 years from now putting 10-15k miles a year. I guess what I'm asking for is your overall experience as an RSX owner, as far as reliability, maintenance, and repairs go.

i just bought a 2002 type-s for $9000 and it has 86000 miles on it. it is much classier than the other hondas i've owned, not to mention quick for bone stock.

Actually, I've heard that there is a lot of problems with the trannys. I've read somewhere that people actually wanted recalls.
