05 rsx type s turbo info
I no this isn't a place i should post this but i'm looking for personal experience from some rsx guys not k series guys. so here's the thing my girlfriend has a 2005 black rsx type s. its super clean and amazingly nice with alot of stuff already done to it. i'm not much of a Honda guy so i don't no much about what u can to it sense its newer. shes looking to have me turbo it for her so i'm trying to go the best way about this sense she is a girl and isn't the best about taking care of her car. so things i'm looking to get out of this are....
- reliability
- 250 to 300 hp
- affordability between $4000-$5000
- bad driver safe
i no what i'm doing when it comes to this kind of stuff just not when it comes to Honda's. so i'm just looking for some personal experience and advice. her motors very healthy too and i'm almost positive the previous owner had it turboed at one point. there's only 45k on the car so let me no what kit or build i should do. thanks

That stock longblock will easily handle your power goasl. I personally like to piece together parts for a build, but there are companies that sell complete "kits".

if you are only looking for 250-300 you should just buy a Greddy Turbo kit or maybe even just look into supercharging the car.
250-300whp isn't anything for boost on a Type-S... It will handle well about your GFs power goals. You can buy those two setups for under your price tag listed. Just make sure you also get Kpro and get the car tuned.

Honestly turbo it with the HKS kit when she hits 250-300 shes gonna get tired of it eventually and will wanna go bigger, if she has told you she wants to turbo her rsx that means she wants to go faster and once she gets used to that 250-300 she will def wanna go faster.... props on finding a girl with a clean *** rsx-s and wanting to turbo it lol

Then all you have to change is the turbo size in the future if you want to go bigger. Most Greddy turbos can be bolted up and it's Carb legal.
BTW, if she doesn't take care of her car, a $3500 supercharger kit comes with a K pro and then just change the oil on time. If you know in advance that she doesn't take care of her car, why give her more to take care of
