This is the second topic I've seen about these cars being stolen so I decided to finally register.

Over the weekend someone attempted to steal '03 type S as well. I left it alone only maybe 20 minutes. they weren't successful... don't know why... but that sucks. I'm sorry.

i live in a apartment complex, and they cut my garage gate open to get to my car. my alarm didnt even turn on, there was no broken glass or anything, those thieves took it clean.

Blah.

Two white RSX's in one week. One thing I'm glad of is car theft is very low in areas where I park... that's lucky... but I still think I am going to install some sort of loud anti-theft device in the coming weeks.

mine is pearl white as well. it's all stock though, nothing fancy on it at all.

what they did to mine was use something that goes in where my key goes to open the door and i guess try to open it that way?? it seemed like something jammed though and the door didn't unlock. now i have a big empty hole where my key goes through though

Dude, that sucks. Hella pisses me off. I thought the RSX anti-theft thing was enough to keep it safe but I guess these thieves really wanted that K20. F*** those bitches man! Can't afford their own ****. I'm gonna start taking more extremes with my car now. thieves

Im from SoCal. Riverside County. I had a ITR championship white on 17" black wheels, tint, system, I/H/E. It was clean as hell. And thats why it got stolen. Very stressful and kind of scary that it would happen to you. I bought the best alarm I could afford and everything, didnt do a thing. But you need to face the truth. And the truth is. Its probably stripped and ditched in a cheap city in a cheap part of town. And after they find your car bare bone like they did mine your gonna have to face the insurance company. I hope you come up off of them, thats your best bet. Or with the money you get you invest it and make something of it. Just look foward to the future and be happy with the things you have such as your friends and family; its not like your best friend,gf, family member was kidnapped and being put up through a ransom. Your friends and family are irreplaceable but your car is very replaceable.

very well said! You can buy as many rsx as you want.. but family/people your close to cant be replace.
