Default Just finished installation of carbon fiber goodies!!!!

Just installed the NSX-R style hood, S-TAI Taitec rear spoiler, Taitec rear diffuser, and front CF chin spoiler. The rear diffuser was by far took the longest to install...with an extra 4 hands it took us about 2 hours. Enjoy.....

That's the highest wing I've ever seen on an NSX. Highest = a new low in taste.

But it's your car - do whatever you want to it, to make it the way YOU want it. You're the only one who has to like it...

That car better be VERY ******* serious to justify having that wing..

The rest of the parts are hard though

I think it gives the car the over all race look that the original owner was trying to achieve. Looks good.

Aloha,

Thanks for the comments guys. For those of you who like the wing...here is a link to some pics taken at JGTC courtesy of FURYNSX. The all carbon NSX has the same wing as well as the black NSX torwards the bottom with Taitec S-TAI front end.

Yeah, the wing is a little iffy. Reminds of Steve Bedeor's yellow Ruf CTR from the NSX Files. I think it was profiled in Car & Driver a few years ago as a "what were they thinking?" photo. Turns out the wing was functional, highly functional and helped the guy win the Virginia Hill Climb.

If you're smart you'll remove that wing ASAP. That thing makes a mockery of all that is NSX. Please, stop justifying that thing in your head and take a baseball bat to it

if its a strict track car, i could see the purpose of the wing but not on a street car

Here's a comparision, Steve Beddor's Ruf:

Now THAT is an ugly wing. But not so ugly when you find out he's got 600 ponies under the bonnet.

Turns out Alois Ruf and Steve Beddor will be at MotorSports Ranch Feb 26-27 with this CTR2:

"Ruf Auto Centre will sponsor the first 2005 Driving Event of the local Maverick Region of the Porsche Club. The event will be held at Motorsport Ranch on February 26-27, 2005. Alois Ruf is scheduled to attend and Steve Beddor will be on hand to drive his Yellow CTR2 Sport."

It's not that bad...If you lower the wing a bit it'll be cool. It looks like its even higher than the horizon of the roof.

I'm not a big fan of CF on white cars, unless its painted (specifically, the hood). Diffuser is hot (as-is), wing is iffy...
