Hence ppl drive their FWD with e-brake, to get the tail out.
But then again, I am not there and don't know the situations and variables, so I'm just talking out of my ***
If it's just the aesthetic parts, it's definetly fixable for under $3,000. </TD></TR></TABLE>
My tail was drifting to the left. I needed it to drift to the right. I initially floored the gas thinking it would straightenout, but it didn't so i tried an e-brake to cancel out the spinning. I reversed the spin but not enough
BTW...the fram is bent/buckled

Re: Wrecked My R =( (Double 06)
i'm surprised your car has any frame damage at all.
i'd suspect the radiator support of course.
if anything the frame will be pulled out very easily. i do rebuildables on the side and have done integras before. the front integra frame rails are very easily to realign or replace all together.

Re: Wrecked My R =( (swtxaznrac3r)
Sorry to read/see the results.... hope it works out with the insurance co?!
Not being able to picture the 'exact' picture of the accident and not knowing the speeds involved or avenues for 'evasion'.... I'm not saying the below comment, is totally relevant to this situation.
I'd like to comment that in 'most' instances where loss of control is experienced and you're spinning - the best thing you can do (recommended at various driving courses I have attended), is get hard on the brake and clutch; as trying to 'power' out of it, can lead to much more dire consequences.... especially if the car skews off into a tree or pole, without having scrubbed off enough speed!!
Safe driving y'all....

not always.. depends on the insurance company and the exact amount of damages..
if they do total it, please get in touch with me.. I would be very interested in working something out with you buying it back.. i'm looking for a chassis.. good luck, and thanks!

Re: Wrecked My R =( (gs R inteqras)
if the body shop is capable of working with the frame i dont think youll get a salvage title... if the whole frame was damaged and has to be fully replaced youll get it.
