Yah, I saw that, I need way more gear than that. Different final drive at least.

Surprised your friends with this super close ratio gear box, improve your ET timing and great for street pickup, awesome quanter mile.

A 1/4mile at a time is about how far you'd want to race anyway with gearing that short....!

I'm seriously contemplating buying this - I couldn't install it yet (no lifting says doctor - recovering from surgery), but for $2000 I bet it would be fun.
3 Questions:
-How loud? (I'm guessing ear piercing noise)
-How long till it blows up?
-Who is Sage Racing and WTF is that paint job?

It's a cheap thrill - there is equity in your original tranny, so the price ends up being like $1500 out the door.
How much is an ATS final drive, like $600? Plus installation? This has everything in one plug and play setup.
I'm looking a little more closely at it - looks like they spraypainted the axle seals - If it came from a company I knew more about I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Still contemplating this one...

Seems like its built just for drag. And for someone to buy it for the street, that's just a waste of money and a trip to the doctors office for hearing aids. Better off spending a couple extra g's and get a custom hewland made!

Re: (JDM Factor)
For mostly street - the gearing isn't ideal, but to build one with ATS parts (which are likely better) + labor is going to be considerably more - and they won't be straight cut.
If anything, it seems like a decent baseline to start with, but there's a couple Q's I emailed them about...

Re: (Tweakmeister)
tweak, I say get it.
I've already dropped the dime on the ats final drive, then the ats lsd, now the ats gearset, not to mention that i also had an itr tranny to start with... go ahead and add it up - because even on getting deals, these parts don't come cheap. AND they still don't have the advantages that a straight cut gearset would.....
Had this popped up just a little sooner, I would've purchased immediately!~
I hope you are able to get this tranny. For an autox or track car on small road course, this would be ideal - even with a b16.....!
I didn't see what lsd that tranny comes with - or if one is even included.....
DAAAAMN! From reid's link, those straight cut gears are 1400 by themselves!!!
GET THAT TRANNY ASAP!!!

Re: (Black R)
I'd be wary of buying a gearset from an unknown source.
Personally, if I wanted a custom gear set, I'd go to someone with a proven track record, like Jamie Houseman.
