Not neccessarily negative but, definitely something that holds the ITR back is the Driver Totally!

You put a great driver in a stock R with maybe some R compounds and R pads and they will lap poorer drivers easily.

Love lapping poorly driven big-buck $upercars! Sometimes even lap well driven $35,000 cars Type R = bang for the buck!

Anton,

this is not the "weakness" of the car... That`s just a problem in US...
The DC2 has a lot weak points.. More than I can put together in a minute...
But most points are just my own feel.. It`s not built for tall drivers.. and that sucks in many cases... can`t sit in the Recaros with helmet, I choose a tight seat position and my knees collide, so I move the seat back and can`t reach the **** in 5th... and so on..
But a less tall driver may like it.

The DC2 sucks for me because I have to build it new.. but I luv it at the same time

Main gripe about owning a ITR:

- Always feeling the need to protect it from theives like it's a $100,000 car
- Insurance costs the same, if not more, like a $100,000 car

That is strange - I am 6'3" and fit fine in my car with a helmet...

I`m 1,92m tall, that`s same as you..
But I have full contact of helmet/roof when just sitting. And very often I almost jump with my R on track... I can`t turn my head to the left to see the friggin`GT3`s coming.... It`s really bad.
Note that I have JDM seats... But also in an OPM seat (type "grip") I do sit not low enough. Guess that has something to do with the body proportions..

Well, I`m running without helmet.. But this year I start serious competitions and I will have to..
