velocity stack question
ok i see that alot of ITR owners have the velocity stack setup. i have one myself.
i see that in pictures alot of people do not put a cone over their velocity stack. is this to improve performance, just better looking, or just for photos?
arent you all scared that somethings going to get sucked in?
just curious.
thanks

Re: velocity stack question
i use a filter on mine. do a search and you should find a K&N that works perfectly on it. if honda-tech didn't erase all my saved notes and such when it switched over, i'd have it on hand for you guys.

Re: velocity stack question
Ive seen graphs of minimal gains 1-2hp at 8400rpms, definitely not worth the risk of sucking in a rock!
I guess true mAdtight JDm folk who think its gansta to have a open velocity stack might run like that.
Protect your cone, wrap it up.
