You'll still feel vtec kick in w/the usdm ecu.

When bumping up the compression, it would be wise to tune it.

As for the timing advance, get a timing gun/light and see exactly where it's at. It shouldn't be beyond 18.

The injector noise is obnoxious...and unfortunately, normal. Somedays, I truly think it's louder and something is wrong...but it's not.

have you messed with your ingition timing at all? I advanced it for a little top end power but you're right, i shouldn't do it without a timing gun. Maybe i should dial it back. Do you think the timing contributed to the VTEC kicking harder? I don't think its the valve adjustment cause its a lot smoother but maybe i should dial her back a notch on the timing huh?

Anyone else with some opinions too?

I just dialed back the timing, this is my rough estimate of where " stock " is about.
Check em out and see if you " approve", hahaha

As mentionned above, you really should get a timing light if you are going to play with the distributor timing. You should not advance behond 18 degrees.

Yeah, i wish i had a timing gun available to me right now.
I dialed it back to the middle which i assume should be somewhere near stock timing or atleast a safe level. Im going to get a timing gun tmw and run another compression test. I pulled in 230's across the board last time so i think im in pretty good condition.

Cleaning the injectors - Internally or externally? I thought about using brake cleaner but i think that eats away rubber or latex atleast. i think there's some plastic in the injector you don't really wanna mess with but cleaning the outside of the injector should be fine. I use Simple green to clean my engine bay. I had some on the fuel rail and injectors and it did a really good job. Just remember to cover the fuse box, distributor and the battery before you start spraying. Get some simple green ( the original one, not the engine degreaser ) and spray it around, let it sit for a good 10 minutes and then hose her down. if you wanna clean the inside of the injectors, injector cleaner will do it.

That brings up a good point, would the injector cleaner lead to my injectors ticking at all? I used it when i sprung the CEL and the CEL came back again. It was code 45 ( system too lean/rich ), i thought the injectors ticking might have contributed to the CEL but after i cleaned the injectors, it managed to find its way back again. Its got something to do with the fuel system but it blows my mind what the possibility could be. Anyone??

well, in response to the CEL , i got an AF meter for free today. Should i put it in? i know its as accurate as a blind guy trying to find a needle in a haystack but it was for free. Suggestions anyone?
CEL 45- System Too Lean/Rich. I have no idea which one it is. I should check my spark plugs tmw and see how they look but what should i do with teh gauge?
Spark plugs all burnt and black = Running too Lean right? I forgot what to look for to try and determine how its running. Anyone?
