type r stock timing belt?
does anyone how much RPM a stock type r timing belt can handle without slipping or tearing? Can it handle reving to 9000 rpm? Also i have used toda timing belt on my B17a i was wondering if it's safe to swap the used toda timing belt on the type R. The toda belt has less than a 1000 miles on the belt, but it has a strange line in the middle of the belt. I will try to post some pics tomorrow.

I don't know about the rest of the guys on here but I would never re-use a timing belt especially when you say there is a "strange line" in the middle. Just play the safe route and either buy another toda belt or another stock belt. /.02

Exactly what 01PY0559 said, just get you a new one. Better to be safe than sorry.
If something happens to that timing belt while you are driving (tear, slip, etc.), you might end up replacing more than just a timing belt.
