Type-R Replacement
Well, given the fact that the R is gone, I had to move on. I was considering replacing it with another right away, but figured I'd buy this instead, and then pickup an R in about a year or so. One all of you get obsesses with the new Evo, or Skyline, or etc. and the values drop some more. :-P
Figured this was the next best option if I wanted reliability, and something a little more grown up for now.

The TL-S is at about the limit of what you can do with an Accord-sized car. 300 HP, six speed, Torsen axle and revised suspension...and it still handles strangely and has trouble putting the power down.
It's great...but it's at the limit of what you can do with that sized FF car!

Actually, compared to the R it sounds too quiet. I've caught myself forgetting to shitting and driving along at 5K RPM without noticing. I need something a little louder almost to remidn me when to shift!

Agreed. It is at the edge of what a car that size is able to do, especialyl considering it is front wheel drive. I wish it was AWD, but given my situation I was in no position to complain, or be picky.
I honestly felt like this would tide me over until I finish an MBA degree, have some more money, and can look at buying the new NSX when it comes out.

Excellent choice! It'd be on my list if I was shopping for a new car in that price range (i.e. if I could afford it ). They do sound great and look even better in person.
