Default torque wrench recommendations

i don't seem to be having much luck with my cheap tools. a damn wheel fell off my super sears jack and now my husky torque wrench's handle fell off.
you guys were quite helpful in my search for the perfect jack (ac jack), now i'd like to see what you recommend for a new torque wrench. i feel a quality torque wrench and a jack are 2 essential items for the small time do-it-yourself garage jackknob. therefore, i'm looking into wrenchs in the <$200 price range. i've checked out snap on: http://buy.snapon.com/catalog/Produc...snapon%2Dstore
thanks for the help! please include info like pictures, websites, price, etc.

2 words...SNAP ON...I got mine from a guy on ebay, practically brand new...$109, up to 100 ft/lbs and it has a flex head, 3/8" drive...sweet wrench...carrying case and all...

not too much more than the craftsman...just see if you can wait out a deal on ebay!

Anything craftsman with moving parts =

I am on my 5th craftsman torque wrench and have broken numerous
other ratchets. no lifetime warranty on those.

I would have a snap on by now if those bastards didnt break when i needed
em that minute.

I have two Craftsman wrentches and they work great. The "Digitork" display makes adjusting it very easy.

ok. laugh at me, I got one from home depot, and it works very nice, "husky" is the brand. 10-100 ft/lbs. But it seems good quality. I dont work on the inside of my car enough to warrant getting snap-on.......yet.

I got a used snap-on on ebay for about 100 bucks...it's a click type (rotate the handle), all metal (no plastic like sears), super sweet action, feels damn near indestructable. And can always be recalibrated. I'd recommend this route to anyone...the craftsman ones are OK, but there's no comparison in quality and action. Snap On r0x0rs....but soooo expensive new

I originally had a Husky but the lines didn't match up (uncalibrated) so I bought a Craftsman. Now it's good to know that they break.

blackteg, i also had a husky wrench from home depot. i babied that thing and the handle still fell off. of course, home depot does not warranty the item. i would now like to avoid any torque wrenches with the rotating handle adjustment.

hehehe...the guy at sears didn't know that when I brought in 3 busted ratchets. They don't work well to loosen axle nuts.
