looks awesome! its gotta be hard to cover that fresh paint up with carpet lol! i cant wait to lay paint on mine and start the re assembly stage its my favorite part!

thanks man! yea but it looks a lot better than before and it gives me peace of mind

yea I definitely enjoyed the reassembly stage more than the re-doing stage

The caR is really coming along nicely

Do you have any plans for the engine? Sorry if I missed that some where in the thread.

I know you said you used 3 cans of the por-15, but was that 3 quarts, 3 gallons, 3 pints? I'm feeling quarts, but just wanted to check.

Well I never knew chrome had anything to do with hardparking but at least if it's behind the dash you can be a softparker and only you will know about it lol.

thanks man! I'm saving up for a motor swap and I used 3 quarts to do the whole car and everything included (suspension, misc pieces)

haha true! I think it will be fine behind the dash. If it proves to be a problem then I will pull the dash and fix it. no biggie!

do you plan on doing the wheel wells black for the oem look so you dont see a bunch of grey? that would really bother me to see such a mint car with grey wheel wells hah..

I did mine in black with POR15 in 08'. In retrospect I prefer grey as it helps when spotting issues. You really wouldn't notice the grey unless you were standing next to the car anyway.

I agree with Ryan here and I will have my front fender liners in and the rear won't be too noticeable

got a new radiator and fans!









me soldering the wires together for both fans!



just because...





replaced my windshield washer hose



Redid my brakes with por15 caliper paint!
first step was to por15! Then paint on the caliper paint!

















Last but not least!!!!

Got a new windshield in!
