Stop selling ITRS for so cheap!
#376
I said I don't want a title!
Re: Stop selling ITRS for so cheap!
As stated in your thread though--the car was probably priced about right because it appears to have serious issues with the paint.

Re: Stop selling ITRS for so cheap!
I had a couple people offer to sell me there "R". Hell I am letting my 2 go to work on my new one.
Most people need money. Its either live in a ITR or live in your house. Its a car. A car can be bought again. Losing your house is far more important then a car.

i don't see why it matters how much they are sold for. as long as the seller/buyer are happy with the price, who cares.....i like how all these people bitch about how cheap they are being sold, but yet noone buys them when they are priced so cheap.
let my 01 go for $5k (guy had cash, and it smelled nice lmao) when i finally made up my mind to sell it. i made a profit off of it, and ended up with a car i REALLY wanted and a daily driver. im happy......but yes, i do miss driving it sometimes.

Re: Stop selling ITRS for so cheap!
I dont see why anyone bothers with either or. If you have one you have one. If you dont you dont.
Yeah people shouldnt be sellin the R for so damn cheap but when you need money you need money. My husband loves his R, and i love my Eg, so we have an even deal goin on cuz when i want to trade my car for whatever kinda car i want. I tell him he has to keep the R because not in a million years would he ever get the chance to get it again.

Re: Stop selling ITRS for so cheap!
money cant really buy a car that gives you just as much excitement as the ITR provides imo...
price is going down... mileage on mines is racking up too.. same goes with wear/tear parts that are being upgrade/moded..
212k kms and going..

My wife would fight someone over our ITR thank God but yeah, girls like that are hard to find. I've known serveral couples of the years that within the 1st year of marrying she was saying the sports car had to go. Even with no kids the car wasn't an issue until the knot was tied. Sounds bad but a lot of women are that way.

If OP really wanted to keep ITR prices inflated, he'd control the supply by stealing all of them and releasing a few at a time ala DeBeers Diamonds.

Re: Stop selling ITRS for so cheap!
Just for this thread's reference.
I sold my 98 with 58k miles clean title in 2009 for $12k
Bone stock motor
comptech intake arm and box
ats 4.9
aftermarket clutch and flywheel
jdm front
tein RA
white work rsz-r
I do miss her and I will buy another white ITR one day.
Now I don't mind the price going down hah
Price all depends on 2 people really, seller and buyer. You can get what you're asking for as long as you're willing to wait for the right buyer to appreciate what you're offering. Of course, you can't look at your ITR with beer goggles and sell it for higher just because it is an ITR. Look at it this way, would you be willing to pay your asking price considering the condition of your car?

u will pick up sound 96/97spec itr for 3000-3500euros in ireland, hard to know why prices fell so bad over past years, but 3years ago you d have to pay at least 6-7k , for some reason ek9's always held their value better
