Rumour has it they put a leadtype blanket so the signal cannot be transferable, kinda similiar to going under a bridge with your cellphone and loosing reception.
They've used a flatbed, this isn't a mickey mouse production obviously.

Re: Stolen Type R: Toronto (slitfill)
another one.. mine was stolen two years ago at my place 401&McCowan, cops found my engine in another civic, but where is the rest of the car up till now i have no idea, cops are useless. i know how you feel. anyone in pinevalley may want to check it, the fcker took my R and took 407 to pinevalley, so i guess my R was chopped there, if it's the same people took yours they might drive it to there again !! good luck

They refund you the price of the unit and installation, but not the years of service charge... which amounts to maybe a couple hundred bucks...
big whoop... great guarantee maybe if you put it on a bicycle or something.

My Friend actually workks for boomarang it all depends on where your boomarang was installed, some shops get lazy and just dump it in your trunk, or just hide it in your dash (which is the first place theves look for) in most cases once they find the module its usally chucked out the window... sorry to hear about your loss on the R

Re: (JDMcb7)
i'm sorry about your R. i had my R for over 5 years and i had many nightmares of that happening to me. it must be a terrible feeling to experience that in real life. in some ways, i'm glad i sold my R so i can sleep well at night. damn thieves.
