OP, sorry for your loss...
Why would anyone go to the trouble of cutting it up; to remove all VINs from the various pieces!?
Fvckin' thieves.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I hope she is recovered and rebuildable. I hope things work out well with State Farm....I'm counting on them as well if the worst happens.
Do you remember the badge # that was on the armrest? I'm working on an ITR Registry project and would like to record heR info for our history.
Thieves = waste of oxygen.

Stolen on 11/3 parked @Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital parking garage. Own the car since new and was in mint condition with only 65K. Been parking at that garage on the same spot since I bought the car! Right now dealing with State Farm...
Car has T1R full exhaust, spoon exhaust manifold, and 4.9 final drive.
If they don't recover the car or settle with me then I have some nice OEM parts for sale...

I'm getting sick of seeing Type R's get stolen!!! To think I will likely never get to own one because I can't keep it safe. I say we start a secret colt that gathers together a list of known theives and then just starts to take them out!!!

Just about the only thing salvageable is the core support for a damn JDM to USDM conversion.

I still see cars everyday with Blue Si grilles, or red si lips. You know they got "GOOD DEALS" on them, people don't get it. This is what is killer our true passions!!!
And besides, it's hard to look good anymore if you have a clean stock car and a janky *** one pulls up next to you that looks the same, but it's put together with stolen ****. Something about those cars doesn't look clean.

I know what you mean. I pass a black civic every day that has a EBP front end on it and some gay looking blue flames in an attempt to fade the front end to match the rest of the car. Could they be any more obvious? If Oregon didn't just slap the wrist of a first timer, there wouldn't be as many taken, thats for sure.
