I would love winter if we got snow. We don't, so I don't like it. Wet and cold is no fun.

I hate it when it snows in New England. They put so much sand on the roads that is becomes a beach at every corner.

I didn't see snow until I was 22 years old. Has been all down hill ever since.

Today, I am going to claybar, wax, wipe all the brake dust off my sets of track/AutoX wheels, wrap them up, bring them inside for the winter and install the splash gaurds. I threw my all season tires on the car for the last time yesterday.

sorry for the rambling post.

I am thinking of getting another set of wheels for this winter. I have some already, but I will have to run a spacer to clear the calipers.

I had to cut my winterazation a little short today. It's about too hail and the winds picked up over 40mph gusts, so I couldn't risk being outside anymore.

I did it get washed and clayed some cone marks off the bumper and sides and threw some wax on those spots.

I should have taken a pic of how bad my 16x8 Rotas look after 4 nonstop years of horrid brake dust. They are looking pretty bad on the inside. I can't even use the inside sticky wheels weights on them anymore.

When the weather is still nice - make sure the whole car has a good coat of wax on it. Check.

After my last track event of the year - move the track tires down to the basement, and the winter tires up to the (unheated) garage. Check.

Before the first time driving on snow, or when the weather starts getting pretty cold, whichever comes first - swap the winter tires onto the car. Hasn't happened yet. If there isn't snow I have to drive on, I usually swap 'em on some time around the second week of December, and off around the second week of March.

Last week, I had to swap for winter tyres on the aRR, before leaving to work at 6 in the morning.

Snow has melted/rained away again now though.
All thats left is salty roads, wich make my car look more like NBP than CW.
