Its proximity to the ground and the fact that any substantial debris will destroy it. I'm not sure how the undertray would handle a speedbump either.

This is a track-only part. The problem with people today is they think "race car parts" on street cars are cool. This will lead to people running the splitter on the street, destroying it, and complaining that it is the product's fault. (This is not directed at you, Tweakmeister.)

I can attest that at least on my car, the splitter is low enough that I can't make it at all over a medium sized speed bump. The front edge will hit. However, the closer to the ground it is, the more effective the splitter becomes. So this is a very good thing from the point of view of going faster.

Here Wai, let me cut and paste my original post.

"The total cost for both the lip and undertray is $415 USD. If you wish to purchase them separately, the lip is $300 and the undertray is $100 – if purchased separately, they will NOT come assembled."

The extra $15 is for assembly (fasteners, hardware, etc.)

Thanks for cutting and pasting from your original post. But the last sentence is the answer I was looking for.

I'm sorry Wai, I thought my original post was clear,

"if purchased separately, they will NOT come assembled."

I'm not too familiar with those Dzus fasteners. What tools are required to install and remove them? Just a regular screw driver?

Unless I missed something and you've turned your car into a track car, forget the notion of adding Andy's lip to your car.

This is a track-only part. The problem with people today is they think "race car parts" on street cars are cool. This will lead to people running the splitter on the street, destroying it, and complaining that it is the product's fault.

Do you have any idea if the undertray will work with Z-10 bars installed?

undertrays are pretty easy to work with (it's just a flat board). you could always cut it to fit.
