it's a motor max 1/24 die cast. They used to be available in PY and CW too but they sold out of those ones long ago.

From what i know, they only made Silver Type R in the DB8 Chassis not the DC2.

Wrong, Silver ITR's were made in Japan in DC2 and DB8 Chassis. Both are very rare and hard to come buy.

Although I still would have picked PY as my first color of choice, I wish more of a variety of ITR's would have been offered in the US. Two and four door would have been nice to see on the street.

CW and PY are the two best colors, Canada had it made plus you got red interior in a few of the cars which we never got. :-(

I'm pretty sure other markets got Satin Silver Metallic as well. Though not nearly as many as the JDM market. I've seen them for sale on pistonhead with the front end that the rest of the world got. Google is da man!
