Don't give up yet, you're almost there! I have no idea how you're going to get it smogged or registered in CA, but it is a sweet project so far. If you can't drive anyway, a running car does you no good. At least now you can take your time and invest in the car until you can drive it this summer.

Wrong..........it will just be a pos with a Type R swap............. Who cares if it will be faster in a straight line???? What are you doing in this thread anyway??? This topic has nothing to do with swapping R engines into civics..........and by the way a 99-00 Si weighs just as much as Type R integra if not more..........so no........
