Re: Selling my 2000 ITR no 56K (MITSUBA)
i think it is gonna be tough to sell for 24k-25k since used EVO's are selling for that much, and new ones are not much more.
p.s - i like my ITRs N/A.

wtf does an EVO have to do with this?
an evo runs 13.2 1/4 mile
this R will run 10's all day, not to mention its more rare, looks nicer and isnt a mitsubishi
not to be a dick, but horrid comparison

Its a horrid comparisson for people like you who drag race not for people like me who road race, auto-x or just do lapping days. Neither the ITR or the EVO are drag cars.
If you like it so much, buy it, that is what the topic is about.

You may be right about the EVO's, but thats the price for a stock EVO... this is a 600hp type R... there's a big difference between the two... and there's nothing like the sound of an N/A type R, but i like the sound of a ball bearing turbo spooling much more.

Most people on the market for a ITR are looking for a stock one.

Re: Selling my 2000 ITR no 56K (1Quikgsr)
Problem is most people who would want these cars can't afford $25k. That is what I am asking for mine and it has a clean title and less miles. You just have to wait it out until the right buyer comes. GL to you

11k? Are you on crack? And he didn't ask this or that about EVO8's blah blah....he just asked how much we think the cars worth...
I think you deff could sell it for 25-30k..I wouldn't let it go for a cent cheaper then 25k. But I do think if you part most the stuff you'll make a few g's here and there and still be able to get 20k for it. Here's the problem...some kids wants it right, but a bank won't give them that much for the car...even if the get 110 percent blue book (like some Banks do) it won't be that much (25-30k). I think it'll be easier to part and get as much for it after that as you can. Good luck tho...car is piMp fosho!

Re: (Erik B)
It seems like cars like this (fully built, looking good, fetured in a mag) often get purchased by some High School kids parents as a gift to the kid. Kid doesn't know **** about it other than "Look I bought this car that was in Import TUner." It seems like anyone who is in the business of modifying imports wouldn't buy it becuase it would not be a project for them, and they have different visions for their car. I just hope that a car like this goes to someone who can appreciate the work that went into it and the rarety that comes with any ITR. Good luck with the sale. If I had the $$$ I'd take it off your hands.

...and the evo isnt a drag nor track car.... why are you even making the comparison?
And to the fucktard who actually said 11k for this car - Go end yourself please. lol. thats beyond pointless comment, it was retarded commentary.

</TD></TR></TABLE>
It's relevant because EVOs are newer, current cars that carry pricetags of between $27-$40K when new. If it were between a used EVO and this car (which doesn't have a clean title or any of the original parts) for the same price, I'd certainly buy the EVO.
$11K is too low, but $25K is too high. I always wonder why people think they are going to sell a car for more than the MSRP it had when new.
I might pay $25K for one of those '97s with 100 miles that we see every so often...but not for something like this. Most people want a car that is close to stock with a clean title. I'd say anyone who buys it for more than $19K is overpaying. Of course the parts alone are worth that much, but that's the used-car business for ya. You don't get out what you put into the car, plain and simple.
