It's just slang for "man." Over where I live, only the brothers and ricers say it. Not that they have any correlation with each other.

My ITR **** has never gotten overly hot in the SoCal sun. I don't think there's really a problem with it, it gets warm, but never hot.

aleph is just a pu$$y ;-)
j/k
Mine gets pretty hot too. I used to put one of my leather driving gloves over it which helped a lot. Course, then I got in an accident (with my first type-r) and the stupid skank next to me in the car bled all over them.
Now I just use a windshield sun blocker to keep the entire inside cool.

I bet if more big brothers drove ITRs there would be a lot less thefts.

It's Toht from Raiders of the Lost Ark, shame on those of you who don't remember him vividly...that was a great villian "Americans, you are all the same. Always overdressing for the wrong occasions."

Last summer, after my friend would leave his Type-R parked somwhere in the sun for a couple of hours, he would have to unscrew the **** and shift without it, while I held the **** in front of the air vents, trying to cool it down enough to make it usable

I think Honda should install a small heatshield right in between the b-pipe and the shifter link at the time they designed the car. It could lower the temperature a lil bit. If you take a look, you can see the exhaust pipe is very close to the shifter. That's way it gets so hot. It gets hotter when the car sits parked after a long or hot drive because there is not air flowing to cool it down. IMHO.
