This has been discussed and debated for years; there's an entire forum devoted to it on NSXprime.
My guess - based on zero inside information, only on statements to the press and the continued availability of the NSX and the demonstration of the HSC prototype a couple of years ago - is this: Honda has not committed to any decision regarding a replacement for the NSX in its lineup. I think they're keeping their options open, and while they have done development work, I do not think they have a high-end sports car ready to introduce in the near future (e.g. next 12-18 months). They could still go either way - come out with a new model, or cancel it with no replacement. That's my opinion.

There is no comparison between the two other than they both share honda reliability and are both n/a. Period.
