OK , the cars we are racing vow is a Civic VTI with the S-2000 engine and a Civic type R 6-speed hooked up to it , see pics. I din'd build this one , a friend of my has been workin a few years on it and now the car is perfect and I can tell you : this one is a like a rocket ship. Specia track ratio gear in the tranny. in 1-2-3 you are in 6th gear at 8500 rpm. only like 240 km/h (150MPH) , but his is only possible on a 4 sections at Spa -Francorchanmps race track.
In Europe we are always talking abouth FLYWHEEL H.P. , this one has +260 FWHP
the 245FWHP was on my ITR.

Did you have to fabricate a custom bell housing, or did the CTR bolt right on?
Everyone wants to know!

The tranny bolts right on it , but you have to make the drive shafts yourself and check how you put the engine in the car . It to a full winter to put it in and custom make all the engine mounts , exhaust , modifie the fire wall etc.... , then the electronics , a S-2000 instrument panel is mounted in the car to work with the S2000 ECU.
Mr Geert Surinx build it , he is the owner of SURINXRACING in Belgium.
He put a lot of energy in this mod. But it pays off.........

More detailed pictures of how it's mounted in there and what was done to the firewall would be HUGELY appreciated by all of us. Also, you're saying Civic Type R 6-speed tranny, so I'm assuming that means from one that was mounted to a K20? I don't know the K-series tranny designations.

So you are saying that a:
K Series tranny will bolt on to a F22/20C?
If so...

heh.. i saw this pic and went ballistic... I thought hey.. a s2k motor? that should be a lot of power....
but as i researched it...
the k20 is more superior to the f20.... so...
the extra money to cut and fit a f20 in the end can be used to buy extra bolt ons to the k20 and get the 250 whp that mos people crave for...
so. bak to the drawing board

yeah but if Im not mistaken, S2K motors can be had for cheap compared to a K20 R motor.
