I know alot of you don't visit the classifieds section so I'm posting this here for the group of people who ordered an earthing system from me.
I've begun production of the kits. The ends have not been soldered yet in this pic but will be soldered before shipping.
Here is a pic of what you will recieve:

Soldered for a better longer lasting connection. The double wire end looks a little messier because it is difficult to heat up such a thick piece of metal.

Looks good tommy.
I need to replace my stock ones once I do all the other crap to my car (clutch, tbelt/tens/wpump, tuneup, vadj, etc). Maybe I'll do a few extra wires..
Mike M: I was really really tempted to talk **** because of your post btw haha

Tommy, you need a stronger soldering iron. At least 40-60 Watts with a large tip. I can tell just by the look of those solders that they didn't get no where near hot enough. I have an iron that can keep a puddle or solder as bigas a paper plate hot and flowing. It cost 200 bux though.
Goto home depot and look for an orange soldering iron that cost about 20 bux. It is made by weller. The tip dont last long, but the iron is 40 watts. Use that. It will work.
Then when you notice the tip starting to deteriorate, let the iron cool off then file it back to its original shape. The solder should look like its still wet after its dry. That is how you know you have a good joint.

Tommy you might want to either pick up a Stronger Soldering Iron Or to heat up the connectors use a Butane Lighter and then the soldering iron.

I'm using a 100W soldering gun. The 8 gauge single terminal soldering connections are perfect, you can tell by the fact that you can see the individual strands. The double ended connections although not as perfect, are very good as well.

may i make a suggestion to make it easier on you. I know when i did a stereo install with 0 gauge wire, i used like a little blow torch thingy (crack torch) i guess people call them. Heat up the wire and just push the solder into it, it will flow evenly and is alot less work. Works VERY VERY well. I suggest you try that.

update on the soldering...I changed tips and now it is working beautifully. You can see individual strands on the double wire connection which indicates a very good solder.

so my idear worked?
The torch idea sounds great but the people in the house would kill me and it is too cold to work outside...plus I don't own a torch.
