Didn't figure out the brake rotr alignment, but the car was great. I am really slow still, but did much better than last time. I think this was the "Aha!" event for me. I actually was able to feel what the car was doing. My instructor told me not to worry about shifting and to just leave it in 4th since I have the ATS gearing and just concentrate on the line and braking points. It made the whole day alot more fun.

Here's some in-car video of one of my slow Sessions. You can get an idea for the sound of the exhaust in this one versus my roof cam where I got all wind noise.

Kenrick,
We need to play with your Hondata to keep it out of vtec while cruising on the highway, should help with the gas mileage to and from the track. As well as helping you keep your hearing.
Also - put your face shield down, I've been pelted with rocks through the side window, the most recent rock hit me square in the middle of the shield.
Work on lines, speed will come. Hopefully we can make it to a track day together in the future.

Have your tuner make it so vtec doesn't engage unless you've hit a certain throttle percentage. That's how mine is setup, it's awesome because you still retain great MPG and you can pick up passing speed with minimal effort.

[QUOTE=jdmspoonitr;43464262]Was a fun day! Had a great time on stock sized Star Specs. Ended up blowing out an injector seal on the way home, but other than that there is no better way to spend a Friday. Photos courtesy of gotbluemilk
Definitely no better way to spend a Friday!! Nice pictures and nice car. I'm a frequent Thill track *****. Use to run that track with NASA a lot but mostly with NCRC and TMR in advance group these days. We should organize a track day at Thill if some Norcal people are interested.
