sorry for the terribly OT post...
does anyone know of any excellent formula 1 news sites or forums out there? i was able to catch the first race of the season yesterday and it was as exciting as ever.
i know of http://www.formula1.com. but, i'm looking for more "hardcore" sites. this site seems to be the "brand" site.
the new rule changes; tires, engine output, etc. seem to make for a good competetive season of driving. i'm hoping to get the most out of this season and follow it...
any ideas? thanks!

i don't think it's highly unlikely for that to happen (next season). considering kimi and ron dennis publicly acknowledge their frustrations and that button is not really performing up to expectations...
it was amazing how kimi was able to come from dead last...

There's a better chance that he'll race for Ferrari in 07 than anyone else

Not performing up to expectations, whose yours? Honda is very pleased with his driving. He had clutch problems which held his car up at the start and let people get by. His lap times were right on pace with MS and FA all day when he was not stuck in traffic. The team needs to work on strategy BIG TIME, it's always the same thing. They pit at the wrong times and get stuck in traffic, the leaders continue to pull away and they have to fight through the field to try and get their postion back. He twice passed Montoya who was faster than Kimi. McLaren just had the right strategy for the situation they were in, also Montoya was complaining about his engine before qualifying, but McLaren said they were not going to change it, because of losing 10spots on the grid.
Kimi was on a one-stopper, the cars he passed in the first couple of laps were of no match to his car, so he easily got by. Being on one stop he made time not having to pit that one extra time, even though he lost about .2-.3 seconds per lap.

How about the expectation to win a race? How long has he been driving for BAR without one? He can qualify well and pass all the drivers he wants during the race but when it comes to achieving the top podium spot he hasn't done ****! Compare him to the 3 top drivers i.e. Schumacher, Alonso, and Kimi and he hasn't really done a damn thing!

Re: (ITRbroham)
And he has not been in a car capable of winning really. The aero on the previous BAR cars SUCKED big time compared to the other cars. They always and still do need to use much more wing to get grip. Having the most powerful motor doesn't mean **** when the car can't stay planted like the other cars. Why do you think Honda invested multi-millions in a new wind tunnel that has finally been completed late last year, but will not be fully operational till late this summer.
I'm not riding his jock, but he is a FINE driver, who is so smooth behind the wheel, he makes it look so effortless that at times I think he is not pushing enough.
AERO and tires are the top 2 things needed to WIN in F1. Look at his past in racing, he has pretty much been a winner throughout. If you don't think he will rack up some wins this season, then I don't know what to say. Honda will win races this year, if they can sort the aero out a bit more and work on their launch control system, which is pretty much one of the worst on the grid.
