and not everyone goes and reads through GDD at all get it everywhere and keep it bumped or ill start doing it for you guys dont slack off tyake some action this is our first big break on anything related to a honda theft this big and we are acting like we cant do **** but sit here and complain and say (no wonder he has a latino name) or (KICK HIS ***) realize we have right to speak up for what we see is wrong freedom of press and so on

I am so glad I read this, I have a Honda civic 95, about 4 months ago it was stolen from the driveway of my house here in Orlando, 4 days later the police called me telling me they found what was left of my car, they took the motor JDM b18c motor with y21 LSD tranny, wheels, interior,.. everything... I am in the process of rebuilding my baby now, thanks for providing a name and address, I knew my day would come... I will make sure I send my email to the TV channel and I will do everything I can to make sure this kid gets what he deserves.

I also did a little research on myspace but the only info there is the school look it up it might help if we know where he goes to school.

I found out a little more, he goes to a CEP school according to his myspace page there are only 2 of those here in Orlando, I did a mapquest of both addresses and one of those schools are only 2.5 miles from his supposed address. This is the school address.

If we really want justice though, we have to think rational. Can't just go hunting this kid down and taking things into our hands. Can anyone on here lookup court dates in the system? The "juvi" hall he'll be going to is on the corner of Michigan and Bumby near Conway. I think the parking lot there may not hold a full 170 cars, but enough to get the point across.

CEP is a school for kids with behavior and academic issues, anyways I am down to fill out that parking lot on his trial day, just let me know what day and what time will it be on. And you are right about being rational and going thru the right process for this kid to get what he deserves.

I already cringe everytime I walk into the parking deck wondering if I will have a ride home or if I will have to call my brother to drive two hours to pick my sorry **** up again.

I talked to UCF P.D. the other day and they told me theft is really high right now and it includes everything from Hondas to pickup trucks. Great, I thought it was a good idea to buy a truck to carry around ITR parts during my rebuild and now worry that the freaking thieves are going to be after my truck's bling bling wheels, supercharger, and Harley badges

This coordinated with 170 people, their insurance representatives, and the news media could have a very significant impact. This needs exposure and involvment- hopefully this will lead to updated punishments in the justice system.

Find out his court date, show up with an assload of cars a couple hours before the time, and alert the media. That should create quite a scene!

Does anyone local have the time to contact the DA's office and find out a date? I have 10 cars (honda's that is) ready to go at a moments notice.

Reason I ask is I've been super swamped and wouldn't want to miss the date. If anyone can get that info, that would be great.

If this is his 1st offense i'd say the judge will give him 3yrs probation or until he turn 18, a whole lot of community service, and a big *** resitution fine. Maybe he'll do 6 months in juve or if that state has like a prison for underages like california does(cya, california youth authority) Thats my bet. he won't be tried as an adult because of auto thief. You guys are comparing his case to teens that has murder cases.

Man I've said it before but I'm gonna repeat myself....I really believe he's watching this thread every single day!
He knows he's in deep poopoo & the only thing that will go in his favor in any shape or form is pleading guilty but that's still not gonna be enough to get him off the hook.
No judge in their right mind is gonna be a passivist @ 170+ cars being stolen no matter what kind they are. But for the fact all of them were Honda/Acura's it's added plenty of fuel to the fire! That shows a more pre-planned out & targeted act of auto theft. A motive if you will.
Lets just say he only gets a slap on the wrist w/ alot of community service, & probation for the next 5 years, that's gonna **** the public off all the more & there will be someone waiting in the shadows when he feels he's sorta safe & then,....well, it make's me hurt thinking about it. Not saying it's legal to take matters into your own hands but their will be someone who doesn't mind if they spend a night or two in jail cause it will be far less punishment (if they get caught) for asault than stealing only one car.

Oh but Andy you can help more then you know, take a picture of a crowed parking lot (ie Costco) near the old spagetti factory (Oh snap who did I know that?) and email it to the judge and officials for the case so they get a better visulization of 175 cars.

Also I talked to my law prof and the fact that he was targetting Honda's/Acura's implies there was pre-emptive(sp?) thought....lucky for us my law prof became interested n the case (he ownes an RSX-S) and it turns out that in similar cases the defendants have been moved into adult court. Apparently the best way for H-T to push for a harder sentence and not bring negative attention to H-T is to show what 100+ Honda's looks like, and to all write to the DA and judge.

lol...lets not get silly over this.

car theft should hold a much larger sentence than it usually does (probation, 2-3 weeks in jail)

frankly to be made an example i'd suggest to the judge to give him 1 month consecutively served for each count he is guilty of. i.e if he is guilty 60 of 170 counts, let that be 5 years in butt pirate heaven

I would love to see as many people as possible in the Orlando area show up at his case and get media attention and show everyone the number of cars he stole and how serious it is.
