Newb question 1996 JDM Type R **searched**
Hey all. I just purchased my fourth Integra, a true 1996 Honda Integra Type R that was imported directly from japan... Anyways my question is about exhaust. I am having problems finding a cat back exhaust for my car. All exhausts are either made for 94-01 ls/gs/rs or gsr same years or for usdm 97-01 type r's. So I'm stuck. I have a good cat off of a 1998 LS Integra that I can use since I read that the jdm catalytic converters are shorter... I just don't know if that will work. Thanks in advance for any replies

Re: Newb question 1996 JDM Type R **searched**
I am pretty sure that applies to the usdm integras which all have the longer (17in if my memory serves me correctly) while the jdm integras have a shorter (12 inch I think) cat. So I was thinking of swapping my ls cat and running an exhaust system meant for a usdm type r. *Fingers crossed* I just don't really want to hack up a brand new exhaust and I refuse to ghetto rig anything on a true rhd jdm itr. Thanks for the input man!

I did hear you could use a 98-2001 GSR exhaust on JDM cars, but don't quote me on it.
I would just buy a USDM exhaust and get a muffler shop to modify the piping length for you
