13eur = about $18 per liter - US$ is very weak nowadays.

What's the point? Hell even in an extremely modded type r it would be pointless, but yours according to your signature is stock right?

It's great oil. Fluids are the lifeblood of your car. If he wants the good stuff - so be it.
I've used in my car for 3 years now.

Owner's manual says 5w30, it doesn't say anything about expensive *** oil. For street cars, you could pour a mix of bacon grease and kerosene in there and it would last 100K miles (don't try that at home).
Are you a $18 per liter bottle of oil advocate, or a devil's advocate?

i believe the original poster does street drive the car, but tracks it occasionally. apparently, frequently enough where he wants to protect his motor that much more.

If he wants the extra protection a good synthetic oil can give you then more power to him. BTW petrv, if you track your car alot and dont live in a cold climate then a stright weight (i.e. 40w or 50w) would be better becasue they are known to keep their viscosity better at higher temps that tracking you caR will bring. Just some food for thought

That can is 2 liters. So it's $18 US for a 2 liter can.
Worth every penny, IMO!

i have no infinite wisdom nor did i claim to, and there is no need to be a cute about it. if he wants to waste his money so be it, it is entirely unnecessary.

I use that oil and I will never change to any other oil. My car used to burn oil and with this oil not a drop! The gas mileage went down as well! Great buy!

your point? my car burns mobil 1 which is arguable better than dino valvoline, which I do not burn. You lost gas mileage and this is a good thing? ****, if someone showed me an oil analysis proving this was so much better i would believe it but until then i classify it as no better or worse than anything else out there, just costs a lot more.
