silent and deep exhaust, not sure if that would exist. I agree that the twinloops may be the way to go, spoon street or the like.

I would post your budget and whether or not you prefer new/used.

These two suggestions conflict. One is lighter, louder, and off the shelf. The other is is made to order, quiet, heavier, and still makes power.

My budget is about 1500 dollar for the both.
I prefer new, but used exhaust will also work.

I like the Fujitsubo RM-01A cat-back, but it may be a little bit expensive inc.shipping

A good header like a RMF narrow or HYTECH puts you close to your price limit. I would construct a 2.5 or 3" exhaust out of K teller pipe...or buy a cheap-o ebay 3" stainless exhaust for $150 and just add mufflers/resonators of choice to shut it up. It will still be loud...but anything besides stock will be loud in a car with no sound deadening.

I have a RMF replica header and it makes power/works great with a 2.5" HFC and stock exhaust. I hate the word replica...but...for many reasons, I bought the $250 replica. I don't know if real RMF headers are even available anymore.

A GOOD header (replica or real) is an excellent bang for your buck mod by itself. The exhaust is less effective by itself (depending on your motor setup), but does free up some powerband up top.

That's a big negative unless you can find a used one. Randy passed away quite a while ago.

With a budget of 1500 i say get yourself a used toda or smsp header and mate it to a hytec exhaust. Its by far one of the nicest and quietest exhausts ive heard in a while.

It's Hytech, actually. Google it. Idk if he sells to distributors now. I'm pretty sure hytech stuff is made to order still. If you're looking to buy used...well...look around. Maybe in the honda tech marketplace or other classifieds sites.

Thanks for the thread! I will be in the market for a new exhaust at the end of the year. Hytech is fairly close too!
