Mugen twinloop for JDM I believe is 2.5" ID.

Re: My Moogen Bling BLing (sleeprhatch)
It's on my car now and i love the sound..
i have a question.. what's the diameter for the mugen b-pipe?
is it 2.25?? i think T1R is 2.5..
mugen b pipe is smaller than my T1R b pipe
any thoughts?
thx

Not to be technical here but the Mugen DOES NOT reduce noise. It's louder than stock, although not by much. When it's first installed, it's so quiet that it doesn't even seem like you installed it. Once it breaks in, it lets out a pretty subdued but menacing growl but mainly only during acceleration. It's noticeably louder than stock though. It's a 60.5mm exhaust which equates to about 2.36". The piping that's located between the cat and resonator is a little smaller than 60.5mm though.

Re: My Moogen Bling BLing (CPR)
I drove around today and i noticed in sound wise it's EXCTLY same as T1R b-pipe and stock axle back. i could guess it but i was right.
hehe but it's LITTLE louder than stock with T1R b-pipe.
is it good idea to cut the rear section flange out of the mugen B-pipe and weld it in to my T1R b-pipe to go with Mugen Twin loop.
i noticed before the reonator Mugen has smaller piping but at the rear section it's larger (probably 2.5)

Here are some pics . I just went down stairs to take some quick snaps
where it bolt on to the CAT or my case test pipe
it's little short for my setup... i will modifiy it later.. it still looks good
Can you guys post pics of your Twin loop on your R as well? i wanna see how it sits on yours
thx

Re: My Moogen Bling BLing (Calavera)
So it is true that even if you run 2.5" b pipe the mugen muffler would actually be a bottleneck being 2.36", no?
