Bringing this back since you have a garage and will be updating it soon, plus to drop some pics of my buddies 1972 H600...Honda's answer to the MINI I guess...crazy this little thing
Please ignore the 4 sale sign on the window...this isn't a ploy to sell it.

Gutted, Motor is built. Sidedraft webers need a throttle cable/linkage setup. Need to mount crank gear/sensor for Ford EDIS programable ignition controller. Ordered some herculiner for 'paint'.

haha that's crazy. I was actually thinking about building one with a motorcylce motor. I definetly wanted a rwd hyabusa powered mini, but the costs are outrageous. Can you even find a rust free mini around that is salvagable?

Re: Mini Mini Update..... Again. (D)
Minis are very popular here in the uk, saw a magazine article in car & car conversions magazine a while back. They fitted a full b18c and they said it kicked some serious *** on the track.
Handles like a cart, revs like a bastard.
Keep on working geeza
What rims you sticking on??

45 mm DCOEs?
I prefer Dellortos, but they're almost impossible to find these days.

Wagovan is getting a D16A1 with a little compression, and DCOM 40's. 33 mm chokes to start with, and a DIY standalone box to control a ford EDIS distributorless ignition system. We'll see how that does.

the mini has KAD mags lined up, 10x7, uber light.

Re: Re: (D)
Ah, nice.
Depending on what your operating range will be, you may want to try ~35mm venturis, but it's better to start small and work your way up, as I'm sure you already know.
